Clannad movie before or after anime series#
If you enjoy the series or the manga, then you will want to have this. Very memorable events happen and thats why i warned you at the beginning of the review.Ĭharacters: Character development is the weak spot in this movie, even around the main characters, but then again, this is a movie and must fit a lot of content in 2 hours. In comparison to the series, the movie has a better story since its not harem-oriented (the series is actually categorized love-pentagon).
Its the story about a girl and a boy, and thats it, you should be able to figure out the rest (or perhaps not.). Story: Perhaps the strongest point in Clannad. Background music fits well in the scenes.
Sound: Been this just a movie, there isn't such a big soundtrack to judge, intro theme is good and dango theme is noisy. Overall, the animation gives a serious touch to the movie. By the time i wrote this, Clannad After Story has not even started airing, and a mayor event happens in the second season which will be surely spoiled by watching the movie its your choice.Īnimation: Animation in this movie is very good, a lot better than the series despite its older. Before starting this review, allow me to issue a warning, if you have not watched Clannad the series and pretend to watch both seasons, then this movie is going to spoil it.
